Welcome to the home page for the Capital High School boys and girls cross country team!

Cross country is a long distance running sport where terrain includes trails, mountains, fields, and track. Cross country is a fall sport so all meets take place between the months of August and November.

Capital High School's cross country team is the perfect sport to participate in if you are not sure if the typical sports interest you, or if you want to use the sport to build endurance and stay in shape for another sport you participate in.

The current cross country coach is Rodney Nelson, who teaches math here at Capital High School. Capital runners are high accomplished, with numerous regular meet wins as well as regional titles for both boys and girls.
