FBLA Completes Community Service

Members of the Future Business Leaders of America just complete their community service project called "Adopt a Grand-Friend". They collected personal care items and put them into Baskets with cards and delivered them to the Kanawha Place Nursing Home in Kanawha City. The group put them together during Clubs on Friday and the officers delivered over 20 baskets on Saturday, March 17. The nursing home staff and elderly were very appreciative. Kudos to Savannah Lahey and Mackenzie Young for creating and organizing this wonderful project.

CHS Students are OUTSTANDING!

 COUGAR PROUD!

I'd like to give a big shout out to our CHS Boys' Basketball team for a great effort in the State Tournament this past week.  They had a great win against back against Morgantown on Thursday afternoon, and had a solid performance against Martinsburg on Friday evening.  They played their hearts out and we should all be proud of them.  This team improved all season long and never gave up!

Our ladies Lacrosse had an awesome weekend as well.  They picked up two wins against Wheeling Park High and John Marshall on Saturday afternoon. What a great start to the season for the Girls' LAX team.

Our VIPS also competed in their final competition of the year this weekend.  They competed against in Ohio against 18 schools from Ohio, WV, and IN. They won Best Vocals, Best Instrumental Ensemble, and 1st Runner-Up in their Class. They were 2nd Runner-Up overall.  Congrats to the VIPs and Ms. Reidell on a great season!

Go Cougars!
