About Me:

Hi, I’m Britt Williams, and I’m excited to be entering my fifth year of teaching at Capital High School—my home as both an educator and a former student. After graduating from Capital in 2016, I earned my degrees from Marshall University in 2019 and Southern New Hampshire University in 2021. I hold two undergraduate degrees in English and Secondary Education, along with two graduate degrees in Curriculum & Instruction and Special Education. What I love most about teaching is the chance to build meaningful connections with both my colleagues and students. There’s something incredibly rewarding about watching students grow and develop into who they’re meant to be. The hardest part, though, is saying goodbye when they graduate—it’s always bittersweet, knowing they’re moving on to the next chapter of their lives.

About Me:

Hello everyone! I am a 9th and 10th grade English teacher, and this is my 6th year here at Capital High School. I graduated in 2009 from Ripley High School and went to WVU to get my Master's in Education and Bachelor's in English. My favorite part about teaching is getting to know students and help them any way that I can. I want to be a person that anyone can turn to. Proud co-leader of Capital's Disney Club. :)
